IOFM’s Accounts Receivable Network Announces First Annual AR & O2C Spotlight Awards
Portland, ME (PRWEB) January 18, 2016 -- The AR Network (TARN) announces its first annual AR & O2C Spotlight Awards. The awards are an expansion of the Institute of Finance and Management’s (IOFM) Spotlight Awards, developed to recognize noteworthy achievements and outstanding efforts in financial operations. The awards will be announced at the 2016 Accounts Receivable and Order-to-Cash Conference, taking place May 24-26 in Orlando, Florida.
A total of four awards are open for nomination until March 1, 2016: AR Manager of the Year; AR Department of the Year; O2C Manager of the Year; and O2C Department of the Year. Nominations may be submitted by any person who wishes to recognize an AR or Order-to-Cash leader believed to demonstrate outstanding and inspirational leadership, or an AR or Order-to-Cash Department that has gone above and beyond to improve processes and implement best practices.
“AR and O2C are the lifeline of any organization, yet often go under-recognized,” said Brian Cuthbert, Executive Director of IOFM. “Most organizations have an AR or O2C department, but they often operate under the radar – especially if they are successful, because their processes are seamless. What many of their coworkers do not realize is that an enormous amount of effort goes into keeping these processes so streamlined. It takes an innovative individual or group of minds to really make them work. It’s time for those individuals and departments to be recognized for their efforts,” he added.
Nomination guidelines define a qualifying AR or O2C Manager as one who demonstrates excellent leadership skills, makes significant positive changes to their department, and brings to life new technologies that incur significant operational savings. Likewise, a qualifying AR or O2C department demonstrates excellent customer service, successfully streamlines processes and new technologies, and has recently cut costs with better cash management and reduced DSO.
Winners and selected finalists will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Thursday, May 26, 2016, during the final day of IOFM’s AR & O2C Conference, May 24-26 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Qualifying managers and departments are encouraged to nominate themselves. Experts from The AR Network and IOFM will review submissions and select award winners.
