“Now more than ever before a custom Triumph is affordable and attainable,” said British Customs founder Jason Panther. “Our aim is to encourage Triumph owners to head to their local Triumph dealer to get ideas, put together a BC parts package, or just talk shop. Johnny Scheff, Carl Peshof, Todd Ligman, Ken Rudoy - these guys are dynamic leaders in the industry and the success they’ve had with their dealerships is a testament to the vibrant Triumph culture that we all love.”
About the Triumph X British Customs Iron Moto Challenge at Motoblot 2014:
The four participating Triumph/British Customs dealers have been randomly assigned a stock Triumph Motorcycle and British Customs parts package to create their ideal custom. Johnny Scheff of MotoWorks Chicago, Carl Peshof of Northern Ohio Triumph, Todd Ligman of Team Triumph of Wisconsin, and Ken Rudoy of Windy City Triumph will lead their teams to prep their builds with paint, performance upgrades and other custom work prior to the Motoblot Show and Iron Moto Challenge showdown. The resulting “pre-builds” will be voted on by the general public on June 13th on the British Customs Facebook Page, and the people’s choice will weigh in towards the final scores. To see what kind of BC parts the builders might use on their creations, check out the British Customs myList.
The final builds will come to fruition live during the show on June 14th and the winner will be decided by a panel of judges comprised of custom influencers Julian Heppekausen of Deus Ex Machina, Brian Klock of Klock Werks Kustom Cycles, Kevin Dunworth of Loaded Gun Customs, and Christy Lee of All Girls Garage. The builds will be judged on their curb appeal, paint quality, and of course performance and hoonability! “It’s been an absolute joy working with the good folks at Triumph Motorcycles, ICON 1000, Raen Optics, and of course all of our judges,” Panther said. “We’re excited to see what the builders come up with and we know the results will show Triumph owners that they too can work with their Triumph/British Customs dealer to customize their bike.”
