Is Scientific Ignorance the Biggest Problem Americans Face?
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 25, 2016 -- According to a MIT report, at least 216 million Americans are scientifically illiterate. According to Olli Rundgren, the CEO of Psyon Games, voted one of the hottest new start-ups in Finland, “scientific ignorance is our biggest problem in regards to the future the world.”
Psyon Games new product, Trump Vs. Science, allows players to throw various objects at presidential candidate Mr. Donald J. Trump (ranging from globes to brick-like tomes) in response to the near-sighted claims made by Trump on twitter about the real purpose of science and, naturally, in the name of scientific progress.” Thus far gamers have thrown millions of objects at the presidential candidate.
Olli Rundgren, the 33-year-old CEO of Psyon Games, explains: “Trump vs. Science is fundamentally intended to criticize Trump’s anti-scientific rhetoric, rather than the man himself.”
Rundgren attended the University of Jyväskylä where he majored in the natural sciences. In 2013, he launched his game company which focuses on science based entertainment products. He hopes Trump vs. Science will “raise global awareness for why good science matters.”
