ISEE Webinar for Families Applying to Independent Schools Hosted by Launch Education Group
Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) November 19, 2013 -- For many parents, navigating the private school admissions process presents a difficult and complicated challenge. The ISEE specifically - with its varied and complex subject matter and format - can be arduous to master and fully comprehend. For this reason, the professionals at Launch Education Group will host a webinar for parents to help break down the many steps involved in both taking the ISEE and and applying for admission at a private school.
The ISEE is a measure used by independent elementary and secondary schools to discern the academic abilities of applicants, and concurrently, an applicant’s eligibility for admission. A student’s performance on the ISEE is a factor in middle school and high school admissions, especially among competitive and academically rigorous private schools.
The webinar will answer commonly asked questions about the exam and its use in secondary school admissions. Such questions include: What is the ISEE and why is it important? What is the content of the ISEE and how does it relate to schoolwork? How is the ISEE scored and what constitutes a good score? How can I lower my (and my child’s) anxiety level about the test? Is it possible to prepare for the ISEE and what are different preparation options?
“In an effort to help parents condense and digest the massive amount of information available online, and dispel common myths about the exam, we’ve created an informative and detailed webinar as a resource for parents,” said Matt Steiner, Launch Education’s Director of Outreach. “Parents will leave this webinar feeling confident and ready to help their child tackle the ISEE!”
The webinar will take place on Thursday, November 21st at 11:30 a.m. PST.
