Islands Restaurants Crafts New Summer IPA with Left Coast Brewing Co.
CARLSBAD, Calif. (PRWEB) June 13, 2016 -- Islands Restaurants, known for its signature burgers, ice-cold drinks and laid-back surf-inspired atmosphere, is partnering with Southern California-based Left Coast Brewing Co. to create an exclusive new brew just in time for summer. Beginning June 13, Islands guests can enjoy the brand new Hula Bay IPA along with seasonal menu items including the Heat Wave Burger and refreshing Colada Sunset.
A classic West Coast IPA, the Hula Bay is a light bodied draft with hoppy aromas of citrus, grapefruit, tangerine and pine. Available only at Islands restaurants for a limited time, the beer was created by the San Clemente-based brewery to pair well with Islands’ signature burgers and fare.
“Craft beers are popular at Islands, and with the Hula Bay IPA we’ve created an excellent summer beer that pairs perfectly with our food,” said Islands Vice President of Food & Beverage Tim Perreira. “Left Coast Brewing Co.’s philosophy of using premium ingredients, great technique and passion is a great match with Islands and we’re thrilled to introduce this beer to our guests.”
A tried-and-true favorite, the Heat Wave Burger is returning this summer for a limited time. Bringing the sizzle both on and off the grill, the Heat Wave Burger is topped with grilled Serrano chilies, grilled green chilies, melted pepper jack cheese, and spicy mayo. Also new to the summer menu is the Colada Sunset, an Islands twist on the classic piña colada with pineapple, coconut cream and a float of Myers’s Rum.
In addition to the new summertime menu items, guests are able to enjoy Islands’ happy hour deals in the bar area every Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., with late night happy hour available at select locations. Along with food and drink specials, each of Islands’ 54 restaurants is giving away custom his and hers beach cruisers this summer. Complete with Hawaiian floral designs and bells, the Freedom Cycle Co. beach cruisers are perfect for riding along the boardwalk. Beginning June 13, guests can enter for a chance to win every time they visit an Islands location, and the lucky winners will be selected on August 18.
