Isos Technology's Becky Papp Honored at the AZ Top Tech Exec Awards for Her Role as a Community Leader
TEMPE, AZriz. (PRWEB) May 15, 2018 -- Isos Technology, a leading provider of Atlassian and IT consulting services, today announced that Becky Papp, a Project Manager at the Company, was named as a finalist for the AZ Top Tech Exec Awards last Thursday night. Papp was nominated in the Community Hero category because of her involvement with ChickTech, a non-profit organization founded in 2012. ChickTech's overall mission is to engage girls and women of all ages in the technology industry.
At the awards ceremony, The Phoenix Business Journal honored the Valley’s technology community in categories such as Top CEO, Top Tech Advocate, Rising Star, and more. The designated individuals were nominated by their peers and clients, and were then selected by an panel of independent judges from the business and IT field. The finalists were chosen as individuals who exemplify leadership and are key players in the growing and diverse technology ecosystem in Phoenix.
Papp founded the Phoenix chapter of ChickTech in December 2017, and currently serves as Chapter Leader. She and several of her co-workers from Isos Technology work side-by-side to fulfill ChickTech's mission of providing educational and career support to young girls and women. The Phoenix chapter strives to provide girls in K-12, in particular, with hands-on experience and opportunities in technology and STEM that they would not otherwise have.
