ISPA EXPO 2016 Educational Sessions to Feature Expert Business Speakers
Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) February 23, 2016 -- ISPA EXPO 2016 will take place March 9-12 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. In addition to featuring the largest show floor and the most exhibitors (including over 70 new vendors) in the event’s history, EXPO offers must-attend educational sessions where expert speakers will lead discussions of business topics of interest to all sectors of the mattress industry.
“Industry leaders from around the world come to see the latest innovative ideas and concepts our industry has to offer. To help attendees maximize the time they invest at EXPO, we offer top-notch educational sessions and valuable networking events,” noted ISPA vice president of marketing and communications, Mary Helen Rogers. “The event is full of opportunities to learn and connect while shopping the largest trade show dedicated to the mattress industry.”
On Wednesday, March 9, best-selling author and business management expert, Sam Geist will share his views on how to create effective differentiation, enhance profitability and “loyalize” customers during his talk “Differentiate… or Die”.
In his session, “The New Diversity” on Thursday, March 10, Jason Young, president and owner of Leadsmart, Inc. will discuss how to manage generational differences in the workplace. As a former senior-level manager at Southwest Airlines, Young will offer his insights and practical information that attendees can use to lead different generations in creating an effective and high performance organization.
The keynote speaker at the ISPA Industry Breakfast on Friday, March 11, Greg Schwem, is a nationally syndicated columnist and author who the Chicago Tribune has called the "King of the hill in the world of corporate comedy." Schwem will share his comedic take on the 21st century workplace that has landed him on SIRIUS Radio, FOX News, and Comedy Central to name a few. Along with an entertaining look at today’s corporate environment, he will provide down-to-earth and practical advice about real world workplace issues.
Also on the program are two Lunch & Learn sessions held on the tradeshow floor. On Thursday, March 10, attendees of “Content is King!” will hear industry and communications experts discuss how to get your message heard by creating, distributing and leveraging valuable content. Panelists include: Dave Perry, executive editor of Furniture Today; Julia Rosien, brand director of Restonic Mattress Corp.; Terry Cralle, sleep health spokesperson for the Better Sleep Council; and Kristen Gough, public relations account supervisor/content specialist with Marcus Thomas LLC.
In the second show floor Lunch & Learn program, “Say Hello to Bye Bye Mattress” on Wednesday, March 9, members of the Mattress Recycling Council will host an interactive presentation to update the industry on the new recycling programs in California, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
To round out the social side of EXPO 2016, we have planned fun networking events, including the Welcome Reception, ISPA Women’s Network Reception and EXPO’s TGIF Happy Hour on the show floor, where attendees can engage with old and new business partners and colleagues from all over the country and the world.
