ISRI Launches Mobile Application for Members and Recycling Stakeholders to Engage, Network, and Advocate
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) April 15, 2015 -- The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) today announced the release of ISRI Mobile, its iPhone and Android applications. The app provides resources and information about ISRI and scrap recycling; offering value in the day-to-day operations of its members and industry insights for other stakeholders. Users can access informative safety materials, industry news and events, commodities facts and figures, and ISRI Chapter listings. ISRI members can log in to use a searchable Member Directory, connect with state and federal elected officials, read the latest edition of Scrap magazine, publications and governance documents, and more.
The mobile apps are also equipped to allow the ISRI to send push notifications with breaking news, public service announcements, and calls to action to support the scrap industry. Push notifications are a useful way of delivering information quickly to the public, often faster than the media.
