ISTE Announces Inaugural Virtual Conference, Featuring Top Experts in Ed-Tech
Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 14, 2014 -- The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE®) today announced its inaugural virtual conference to be held on February 13. Available to ISTE members, the interactive learning experience with top experts in education technology will feature hot topics from the ISTE 2013 Conference as well as previews of the programs for ISTE 2014 in Atlanta.
Available as a new professional learning opportunity for ISTE members and new members registering for the ISTE 2014 Conference and Expo, the virtual conference is built around four strands: Digital Age Teaching and Learning; Leadership; Professional Learning; and Technology Infrastructure. The conference keynote features EduTecher Founder Adam Bellow teamed up with Steve Hargadon to revisit the highlights of Bellow’s inspiring ISTE 2013 keynote, “You’re Invited to Change the World,” and expand on the concept of changing yourself to make a difference. Other topics range from tools for the maker movement to BYOD and the next trends in education technology.
