ITC Integrates TurboRater with Softech International
Carrollton, Texas (PRWEB) September 24, 2013 -- Insurance Technologies Corporation (ITC), a leading provider of marketing, rating and management software and services, announced today the integration of its comparative insurance rating system TurboRater with Softech International (http://www.softechinternational.com) to provide its users with access to motor vehicle reports (MVRs).
To pull a MVR for an insured, the agent fills out name, date of birth and driver’s license number in TurboRater. Through the integration with Softech, the driving record is accessed from the state’s database and sent to TurboRater where the agent reviews and accepts it. After the MVR is accepted, the information is then populated into the quote. This feature is available for users in all 16 states where TurboRater is offered: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.

TurboRater is a web-based comparative rater that is accessible from any Internet-connected computer. Independent insurance agents use it to automate the process of obtaining insurance quotes from multiple companies, which helps them fulfill customer demands instantly and accurately.
Once an agent enters the data into TurboRater, the quote information is electronically submitted to carriers who in turn calculate and return the rate. In addition to reducing the risk of typos and inconsistent entries, TurboRater saves agents time as they consult only one screen to compare all carrier premium quotes, which also allows them to tweak the quotes with just one data entry point.
