Along the way, he meets a mysterious woman he names Parcae, after the Roman Goddesses of Fate, who helps him take a brave journey through his past, present and future as he questions his true destiny.

About the Author
J. Nicholas is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.A. in economics. He obtained a writing stipend from a Ukrainian contest he entered. He was honorably discharged from the New Jersey National Guard 50th Armored Division, where he was primarily a helicopter forward flight observer. He was the vice president of information services for three major corporations – RKO General, United Merchant and Manufacturer and Standard and Poor’s. He was married for 33 years until his wife, Carol, passed from breast cancer. The novel is dedicated to her.
