Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival Reveals Lineup of Chefs for Popular Taste of the Tetons Culinary Event
Jackson Hole, Wyoming (PRWEB) September 01, 2016 -- The Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, known for bringing out exceptionally talented artists and dedicated art lovers, also attracts a hungry crowd with sophisticated palates for the annual Taste of the Tetons, a favorite event among foodies. Guests can enjoy sampling a variety of the finest offerings from Jackson’s cutting-edge eateries on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. An eclectic lineup of culinary creations is prepared to wow the crowd at the annual open air tasting fair, held on the famous Jackson, Wyoming, Town Square.
Taste of the Tetons attendees can satisfy their appetites with gourmet sample-size offerings from participating chefs by purchasing tickets on any of the four elk antler framed corners of the Town Square. Tickets for the Jackson Hole event are $1 each, with the price of individual samples ranging from two to four tickets.
Area chefs will demonstrate their art at the 2016 Taste of the Tetons, an annual staple of the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival. Participating restaurants for the 2016 festival include: Snake River Grill, Hatch, Westbank Grill at Four Seasons, The Wort Hotel, The Rose, Streetfood at the Stagecoach, Jenny Lake Lodge, The Mural Room at Jackson Lake Lodge, The Blind Butcher, Cream and Sugar, e.leaven Food Company, Piste, Nick Wilson’s and the Spur.
Also on tap at Taste of the Tetons are the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival signature wines by Jackson Hole Winery, partnering with the festival for a second year with the creation of a Chardonnay and Syrah. The 2015 Chardonnay comes from Russian River Valley, Sonoma, California, and provides aromas of guava, melon, pear and citrus notes. The 2014 Syrah comes from Dry Creek Valley, also in Sonoma, and is described as a rich wine with a big mouth feel and a soft and silky finish layered with black cherry, plum, currants, cocoa and caramel.
Produced locally, the signature wine labels showcase the festival’s featured artwork, “Greeting the Dawn” – with the source painting to be auctioned on the Town Square on Sept. 17 following the popular QuickDraw event. The festival wines will be available for purchase at Taste of the Tetons, as well as at The Liquor Store and Westside Wine & Spirits in Jackson.
