(PRWEB) April 15, 2015 -- Legendary screen and state actor James Early Jones hosts "In America", which is distributing the latest television episode focusing on the continually evolving music industry. Music styles have always changed. Since the first time humans started to sing to express themselves, the idea of music has been in continual motion. However, the industry itself now faces new challenges it has never truly had to deal with. This segment of "In America" looks to educate viewers on the changes in the music industry and how industry professionals are trying to stay on top of the continual evolution.
Since the turn of the 20th century, most music fans listened to their favorite music over the radio. It wasn't until the record and record player came out almost a half century later that allowed the everyday listener the ability to play their favorite music at home. This led to portable tape players and now, devices that play MP3 music files. However, the music industry now faces dropping album sales as fans now have dozens of ways to obtain their music. From streaming music services to pirated music content distributed illegally over the Internet, the music industry must continue to evolve in order to survive in its current form.
"In America" is an independent television production and is distributed across the country to different Public Television Stations to be aired at their discretion. "In America" is not a production of PBS or APT and has no affiliation with these organizations.
