James Hargreaves Plumbing Depot is set to open a new £250,000 branch in Blackpool
Burnley, Lancashire (PRWEB UK) 30 July 2013 -- James Hargreaves Plumbing Depot is set to open a new £250,000 branch on Mowbray Drive next month with 40-year-old Mark Heys, from Marton, at the helm.
With 12 years' experience in the plumbing and heating industry, Mark is excited by the chance to run the 33rd branch of the fast-expanding James Hargreaves Plumbing Depot chain - especially in his home town.
"I have helped the firm find the right site here on Mowbray Drive and we have had customers popping in even before we are officially open, which can only be a good sign.
"James Hargreaves Plumbing Depot is moving forward at quite a pace and I have worked at several of the branches before being handed this management opportunity so I know just how things tick and the commitment to product, value and service.
Earlier in his working career, Mark spent eight years as a chef and he sees many similarities between his old and current occupations.
"Both rely on excellent products and the delivery of a top class service," said Mark, who attended St Bede's RC High School, Lytham-St-Annes, and later earned a diploma in electrical engineering at Bispham Technical College.
"The plumbing industry has been my life for some time now - from sales through to senior management - but my years in the hospitality sector also provided a grounding in dealing with the public and learning how to provide customers with precisely what they want."
The first phase of the Blackpool branch - a trade counter - will be up and running next month with a mezzanine level, housing a bathroom showroom, set to follow as phase two in the autumn.

At 7,000 sq ft and incorporating a bathroom showroom it represents one of our most ambitious branches to date and, in Mark, we firmly believe we have the perfect local man to make it a great success."
