One night, when committing a crime, an officer gets killed and Dan is suspect. To evade prison, he reveals the real killer. Never did he expect that this revelation would unveil a shocking truth about himself.
Dan decides to start anew and finds solace in religion and God, a girlfriend and a nice school. Life is good, or so he thought. Can a person who has once lost his path find his way to redemption? Or will it all be the same bad ending for all?

About the Author
James Mitchum Oates was born Brian Steven Curtis on October 19, 1975, in Chicago. He moved to Kansas City with his father, mother and two brothers when he was 6 years old. He graduated from Van Horn High School and then went to Penn Valley Community College. There, he received his associate’s degree in criminal justice. He then went to Park University and received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice: corrections. He is the author of three other books: “Life 101: A True Life Story,” “The Revolution” and “With Cream Cheese Please.” He is single, with no children.
