Jason Hope Responds to Texas Instruments' Contribution to Upcoming International Consumer Electronics Show
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) December 22, 2014 -- On January 6, technology companies of all shapes and sizes will convene in Las Vegas to discuss the latest changes in the technology marketplace for the annual International Consumer Electronics Show. Texas Instruments has recently announced the products it is bringing to CES, as reported by BrandChannel.com, and Jason Hope believes that these show the power of the growing Internet of Things.
In the BrandChannel.com article entitled "CES 2015: Texas Instruments Talks Up Internet of Things, Self-Driving Cars," the portfolio of technology products joining Texas Instruments at the convention was discussed. The developer plans to bring over 100 product demonstrations from its own products and its technology partners to the event. Of the products announced, some interesting developments include:
• A battery-free sensor network that can hold up to 30 nodes and is powered by ambient energy.
• A digital cockpit to make self-driving cars more of a reality.
• The Sprout by HP projection system which combines a desktop computer with a user interface that allows for interaction and creation while connecting the digital and physical worlds.
• The Haptic Bluetooth Kit, which includes haptics, power management and wireless connectivity.
"While a self-driving car is likely to be the talk of the event," said Jason Hope about the announcement, "it's the smaller developments and product launches, like the Haptic Bluetooth Kit, that I feel will have the biggest impact on society as the Internet of Things develops."
"For instance," he continued, "the battery-free sensor network TI is showcasing shows amazing potential in creating a state-of-the-art home networking system. With one central hub, you could, in theory, connect all of your devices, without wires and without batteries."
CES will be held January 6 through January 9 in Las Vegas and is spread through several hosting hotels.
