Jay’s Fabric Center Participates in Row by Row Quilt Shop Hop
St. Petersburg, FL (PRWEB) July 14, 2017 -- Jay’s Fabric Center, a fabric and sewing supply store, will be participating for the third consecutive year in the 2017 Row by Row Experience™ now until September 5. During the event, quilters can visit any of the participating quilt shops and receive a pattern for one row in a row quilt, picking up from as many shops as they can, then mixing and matching rows to create a fun and unique quilt.
“We decided to participate in the Row by Row Experience™ because it’s a way to connect with our customers and invite new customers,” said Arthur Jay, owner of Jay’s Fabric Center. “It is a little bit educational on our part, because the row that we designed forces them to learn different skills with their sewing machine and step up their sewing skills. We are here to help them if they have questions.”
Row by Row Experience™ began in 2011 with 20 quilt shops across New York State. Today, thousands of stores across the U.S., Canada and Europe welcome travelers through their doors.
The Jay’s Fabric Center 2017 Row theme is “Go the Go!” which was designed by Jay and assistant sales manager Betsy Cook. “Here we are introducing applique with fusible web, introducing photo/image printing on computer fabric and utilizing the sewing machine’s decorative stitches,” concluded Jay. “Many people are traveling in from all over to receive their pattern.”
