Huntington Beach, California (PRWEB) October 22, 2013 -- Ring in the holiday season and the New Year at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa with the first annual “Concerts On The Shore” jazz series. The beachfront resort will be decked out in its holiday finest, offering expansive views of the sparkling Pacific Ocean while guests enjoy jazz greats including Brian Culbertson, Eric Darius and Larry Braggs, Peter White and more.
The festivities begin on November 29, the Friday after Thanksgiving, with A Peter White Christmas, featuring jazz guitarist Peter White with saxophonist Mindi Abair and trumpeter Rick Braun. This talented group began ringing in the holidays nearly a decade ago, performing unique arrangements of holiday favorites and seasonal standards. Armed with an unparalleled combination of lyricism and energy, White combines elements of jazz, pop and classical guitar to create a sound that is singular and at the same time accessible to a broad audience. Abair, one of the most recognizable saxophonists in the US, has sold a half million records as a solo artist, and is now well-known as the featured saxophonist on American Idol for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Braun’s done just about everything, from backing the likes of Rod Stewart and Sade to stepping out into the spotlight as a vocalist and a master of the trumpet and flugelhorn.

Culbertson will play two sets and plans to play well into the New Year.
