Jeff Ballabon Will Bring Media, Government Relations and Intellectual Property Expertise to American Innovators for Patent Reform's Board of Directors
New York, N.Y. (PRWEB) June 14, 2014 -- American Innovators for Patent Reform (AIPR), an industry group representing small patent owners – start-ups, R&D companies, universities, independent inventors and patent practitioners – has added Jeff Ballabon to its Board of Directors. Mr. Ballabon is a founding partner of B2 Strategic, an influential international consulting firm.
Prior to founding B2 Strategic, Jeff Ballabon was CEO of Innovative Communications Technologies, Inc. where he managed litigation and licensing efforts that ultimately led to the company’s spin-off as a public company. Jeff Ballabon is well known in both New York and Washington as a media expert, policy authority and business visionary. He has headed communications, public policy and government relations departments at major media corporations that include CBS News, Primedia and Court TV. He has provided policy and government affairs representation to investment funds, non-profit organizations and political candidates. Mr. Ballabon serves on the Executive Committee of the Federalist Society’s Intellectual Property Practice Group.

A graduate of Yale Law School, Mr. Ballabon served as Republican Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation and as Legislative Counsel to U.S. Senator John Danforth (R-MO). He has twice been a Presidential Appointee to the Distinguished Executive Review Board of the Presidential Rank Awards Program, as well as to the U.S. Secretary of Labor’s Committee on 21st Century Demographics. In addition to his work in intellectual property, Ballabon has been a national leader in several media and policy-related organizations.
