Jeffrey M. Young Joins the Pittsburgh Office of Perkins Eastman as an Associate Principal
New York, NY (PRWEB) January 14, 2015 -- The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, office of top international design and architecture firm Perkins Eastman is pleased to announce that Jeffrey M. Young AIA has joined the firm as an Associate Principal. Young will bring insights from his 18 years of experience across a range of building types to help build and lead the commercial office and mixed-use practice area in Pittsburgh.

Prior to joining Perkins Eastman, Young was a Principal and Senior Project Manager at local Pittsburgh firm Astorino, where he delivered high-profile projects across a range of practice areas, including corporate, healthcare, higher education, and museum practice areas. Prior to this experience, Young worked at Burt Hill, a Stantec Company, and, previous to that, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in New York. Some of his more notable clients overall include Crown Castle, PPG Industries, Allegheny Health Network, and Extell Development Company.
Young received a bachelor of environmental design from Miami University and a master of architecture degree from University of Pennsylvania. He is a registered architect in Pennsylvania and New York, certified NCARB, and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. In addition to his professional associations, Young is a member of the board of trustees of Temple Emanuel of South Hills.
