Jenni Goldman pens new guide to navigating rough sea of divorce
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (PRWEB) January 13, 2015 -- After experiencing the divorce process firsthand, author Jenni Goldman decided to write a guide to traversing the often disorienting process of spousal separation.
In her new book “Divorce: AKA The Most Illogical Ride of Your Life” (published by Lulu), Goldman outlines the various ways one can make sense of the divorce process, deal with possibly difficult ex-spouses and meet new people after separating from a what once was believed to be a lifetime partner.
“The craziness is real,” Goldman says. “He or she will get through it better than they were before, if focus is kept on being true to oneself and doing what’s best for one’s children.”
In addition to offering advice for navigating what she coins an “illogical” process full of “craziness,” Goldman discusses the various ways in which couples often involve children in divorce proceedings, which she believes is detrimental to the well-being of those children.
“There is an ongoing high rate of divorce today,” Goldman says. “And parents often use children in an attempt to harm each other.”
“Divorce: AKA The Most Illogical Ride of Your Life” is meant to inspire, motivate and encourage those who may think they are alone in the process of divorce. Goldman hopes readers will benefit from her personal story, sprinkled with a fair amount of humor, and come away with a better understanding of the emotional, mental and social consequences of marriage dissolution.
