OMAHA, Neb. (PRWEB) December 19, 2017 -- On December 15, 2017, forty young business professionals gathered to receive recognition as some of the area’s most dynamic young leaders. The Midland Business Journal hosted an awards breakfast to honor those who they’d placed on the 2017 “Forty Under Forty” list.
The Midland Business Journal releases the “Forty Under Forty” list annually. Honorees, all under the age of 40, are chosen for their leadership abilities and business acumen. Winners come from a variety of industries.
Among the winners this year was Jerod Evanich, co-founder of A Place At Home (APAH), a senior focused care company, and the NorEast Franchise Group (NEFG), a company which exists to launch and support APAH franchises across the nation.
Evanich is a leader in the senior care industry. He and his partner, Dustin Distefano, launched APAH in August 2012 in response to gaps they saw and frustrations they had with care options for their grandparents and great grandparents.
The Co-founders’ grandparents, along with over 800 of Omaha’s seniors, have utilized APAH’s services. The company now boasts a staff of 100+ active caregivers and support personnel.
Today, the company is growing faster than ever, in part because of the launch of the NorEast Franchise Group. APAH’s first franchisees are opening their doors at a South Denver location early next year. NEFG’s massive franchising effort, is actively seeking franchisees for additional territories, which allows APAH to carry out their mission: “To be Passionate Professionals Providing the Compassionate Care Solutions You Need, Where and When You Need Us.”
Evanich remains focused on giving back to the community and the industry. Along with contributing to numerous nonprofit organizations, A Place At Home routinely joins forces with the Home Care Association of America to lobby for legislation that supports senior’s rights to receive safe and affordable in-home care services.
As for Evanich’s reaction to his award? He’s excited, and hyper-focused on what comes next.
“I am deeply honored to be included in the 2017 40 Under 40 line-up,” says Evanich. “This award has inspired me to keep right on working. I want to talk to more people who share my heart for seniors and my passion for entrepreneurship. That’s why we are working so hard to locate new potential franchisees. We are expanding nationally, but many people do not recognize there are fantastic territories close to home. From Lincoln to the Quad Cities and Sioux Falls to Wichita there are opportunities for you to own your own A Place at Home.”
As he launched NorEast, added a service line to APAH and welcomed his second daughter, Evanich earned his Executive MBA. Like most on the 40 Under 40 list, this entrepreneur is not afraid to tackle multiple challenges.
