Jerome’s Pizza Sponsors Run for Justice to Help End Modern Slavery
Englewood, CO (PRWEB) September 14, 2016 -- Jerome’s Pizza owner Jerome Graves is proud to announce his pizzeria is sponsoring The Justice Run, a family-friendly event to raise money for and awareness of victims of human trafficking. The Justice Run will take place on Sunday, October 2, 2016, at Hudson Gardens in Littleton, CO.
“The Justice Run will benefit a number of important causes and nonprofits and the goal is to end modern slavery,” said Graves, who is sponsoring the race for the fourth consecutive year. “I strongly encourage the community to come out and either run or just offer support.”
The Justice Run includes a 10k run, 5k run or walk and a 1k kids run. It is professionally timed and both the 10k and 5k courses are certified. Awards are distributed following the race. All race registration fees and donations from The Justice Run will go directly to nonprofit organizations, such as The Justice Project, which is dedicated to combatting human trafficking and forced prostitution; Set them Free, which exists solely to raise money for the rescue and restoration of victims from human trafficking both around the world and in their own backyard; New Horizons House, which was established to provide holistic after-care services for girls rescued from human trafficking and the international sex trade; and many others.
All runners will receive a tech shirt, goody-bag, post-race meal, and raffle entry. Runners can also register as a team. Anti-trafficking nonprofits are also encouraged to sign up to have a booth or fundraise through the race.
