Jerry’s Artarama Sponsors Jamal Igle's Molly Danger Launch Party
Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) October 10, 2013 -- This Saturday, October 12th, 2013, Jerry’s Artarama, the online leader in art supplies and materials will sponsor the launch party of the new graphic novel Molly Danger at JHU Comic Books in Manhattan following the 2013 New York Comic Con. The launch party and signing will feature the author Jamal Igle who will be signing copies of his comic book Molly Danger. All proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Hero Initiative, a non-profit organization providing financial stability to comic creators who may need emergency medical aid or financial support.
Molly Danger is the story of the world’s most powerful, crime fighting, seemingly immortal, ten-year-old girl as she protects the town of Coopersville from evil. Molly Danger Book One is a hardcover, European format Graphic comic series. The author, Jamal Igle, a veteran comic artist and writer who has worked on series such as Supergirl and Ironman, funded the Molly Danger project through Kickstarter raising over $50,000. Money raised through the Kickstarter will also fund future issues of Molly Danger.
The Launch party is planned for Saturday October 12th, from 9 p.m.-12 a.m. at JHU Comics located at 32 East 32nd St. in Manhattan. A V.I.P. Cocktail hour from 7:30-9 p.m. will take place before the launch party with gift bags for attendees and catering for the event will be provided by Bassett Caterers. Along with Jerry’s Artarama online division sponsoring the event, co-sponsors include Strathmore and Artograph.
