JJR Marketing Celebrates 10 Years in Business with Anniversary Event
Naperville, Illinois (PRWEB) September 08, 2016 -- In August, JJR Marketing, a Naperville-based public relations/marketing firm, marked 10 years in business with a summer celebration of friends, staff and clients at Top Golf in Naperville.
Beginning in the summer of 2006, the husband and wife team of Jacqueline Camacho-Ruiz and Juan Pablo Ruiz combined their creative energies to be co-owners of an established, ever-growing and well-respected firm supported by a team of 14 professionals serving the many needs of clients.
“I have learned quite a few lessons over the years as an entrepreneur, but one of the most important lessons is knowing that everything that I will ever achieve in life will be with people, for people and through people,” Jackie says. “If there’s any advice that I can give to an entrepreneur it is this: to align yourself with leaders who have done what you want to accomplish. Surround yourself with people who will both challenge you and support you.”
Some of JJR’s accomplishments include launching the most successful book launch in Chicago for “Today’s Inspired Latina Volumes I and II” which introduces readers to successful Latinas from all over the United States; spearheading a Kickstarter campaign for the book “Top Fuel for Life” and reaching over 100 percent of the goal in 30 days; being the marketing agency for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Chicago Chapter, the largest in the country; and supporting local nonprofits such as the Sheilah A. Doyle Foundation, Fox Valley Entrepreneurship Center and The Fig Factor Foundation.
Most importantly, JJR develops a personal connection with its clients such as Gabriela Rodil, an international executive, local business coach and speaker. She hired the firm as way to help her concentrate her energies on promoting her business.
“JJR has very talented people and they were able to put together an impressive website with great content,” she says. “It was the beginning of my business and they created everything that I needed to be set up for success. On an ongoing basis, they basically run my back office for marketing and publicity so I don’t have to.”
A passionate serial entrepreneur and an 8-time author, Jackie has accomplished other important milestones, including creating the international movement Today’s Inspired Latina and getting her sports pilot license. At the anniversary celebration, the couple unveiled a new coffee table book titled “Living the Amazing,” which is a collection of affirming sayings and inspirational quotes. With a debut in 2017, this is the first book that the couple has written together.
“I hope that our words will inspire readers to accomplish whatever they have in their hearts,” she says.
