Boston, MA (PRWEB) January 15, 2014 -- Joberate today announces that Michael Beygelman has been appointed company CEO, effective immediately. The current CEO Jukka Pekonen will remain with Joberate in a leadership role as the company’s Co-founder and Head of European Business Development, while Aki Kakko, will assume the role of Co-founder and Head of Product. The existing Joberate leadership team will continue to operate in their respective roles and responsibilities.
In his role as the new company CEO, Beygelman will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s long-term strategy with a view towards further increasing shareholder value. He will also lead and oversee the implementation of Joberate’s long and short-term plans in accordance with the company’s strategy, including the relocation of the company’s headquarters from Finland to the U.S., while maintaining Joberate’s current global footprint and centers of operation.
Joberate provides Predictive Analytics for HR and Recruitment™ that enable companies to gain actionable insights from the publicly available digital footprint of their current employees or prospective candidates. Joberate’s patent-pending technology called Signal™ and Insights™ tackles the Big Data challenge by analyzing myriad Internet sources, including social media, to provide predictive analytics about each individual, or a segmented group, that is being tracked. The company’s technology is available as a standalone, web-based SaaS application, as well as an API that can be integrated into leading Talent Management, ATS, CRM, and HRMS applications.
Chairman of the Board and Joberate Co-founder Juha Viitala said, “Michael was responsible for growing Adecco’s RPO business globally, while never sacrificing high quality customer service nor the interests of the company’s shareholders. He built an amazing culture and leadership team, which led to a highly collaborative working environment and significant growth.”
Beygelman was hired by Adecco in 2006 to help the company define its vision for Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Managed Service Provider (MSP) businesses. During his nearly eight-year tenure he became the RPO President, successfully completed the acquisition and integration of TalentTrack, LLC., and later Beeline RPO, and grew the RPO business globally. Adecco’s workforce solutions business rebranded to Pontoon in 2012, and under Beygelman’s leadership in 2013 Pontoon’s RPO business segment earned the #1 industry ranking by Outsourcing Institute. He built the RPO business into a global recruitment powerhouse that was involved in one new-hire nearly every seven minutes, touching nearly 60,000 new-hires annually.
He has been featured in several video interviews, articles, white papers and case studies, and keynoted numerous HR and Recruitment industry conferences all over the world. Beygelman is a published author and has been a monthly columnist for various HR publications; Staffing Industry Analysts named him to their prestigious 100 Most Influential People list in 2013. Prior to joining Adecco, Beygelman was the Executive Director of the now HRO Today Services and Technology Association (formerly HR Outsourcing Association), and has held other executive positions for startup, private, and public companies.
Joberate Co-founder and Head of Product Aki Kakko added, “Michael started the RPO business for Adecco and only a short while later they emerged as a top player in the space. His passion for innovation, industry-leading best practices, global expertise, pragmatic approach to building a business and a very transparent, collaborative management style make him the ideal person to take our business to the next level.”
Beygelman commented, “I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with a team of incredibly talented and dedicated individuals. The Internet and social media has disrupted traditional HR and recruitment. Most service providers have historically focused on optimizing what happens inside the recruitment funnel, or dealing with tactical issues like processing or tracking applicants, while a number of technology companies are focusing on improving the candidate search and match function through search aggregation and talent data warehousing. What makes Joberate unique is the company’s focus on data reconnaissance and predictive analytics based on people’s online behavior. As a result, HR will have predictive insights into attrition and retention and improve their on-boarding, talent management and succession planning functions for example. At the same time, recruiters won’t have to waste any time cold calling, endlessly searching databases for relevant candidates, or sending unproductive emails to random people.” Beygelman added, “We will be holding an analyst briefing soon to discuss our company development plans and answer any questions about our technology roadmap.”
