Jock Waldo Named Divisional Vice President of BI Incorporated

Boulder, Colo. (PRWEB) December 23, 2015 -- The GEO Group has named Jock Waldo divisional vice president of BI Incorporated. He most recently held the position of vice president of GEO Care Strategic Marketing at GEO Care, a division of the GEO Group. Waldo, who has been with BI for 25 years, becomes the sixth BI leader over the company’s 37-year history.

Waldo joined BI in 1991 as a regional sales representative and has been an integral part of BI’s expansion and growth over two decades. He was promoted to regional sales manager in 1994 and later to the role of vice president of sales, before becoming vice president of marketing and internal operations, where he was responsible for BI’s innovative manufacturing, product management and marketing teams. He has been part of BI’s executive management team for more than a decade and has been highly involved in the oversight of BI’s sales, marketing and sophisticated electronic monitoring operations. He became vice president of GEO Care Strategic Marketing in October 2014.

Waldo earned his bachelor’s degree in geophysics at Vanderbilt University and has continued graduate studies in business at the University of Denver. He began his career in community corrections as a marketing manager with Guardian Technologies in 1986.

Established in 1978, BI offers more than a dozen electronic monitoring products and services that help probation, parole, pretrial and immigration agencies to monitor individuals released to community supervision. Additionally, the company offers cognitive behavioral treatment and training programs for inmates in jail as well as individuals released to community supervision. The company was also recently selected by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency to provide case management and supervision services for individuals in immigration proceedings, a public-private partnership that includes operating more than 40 locations nationwide.
