JogNog Launches Nationwide Science Contest for Middle School Students
Wakefield, MA (PRWEB) November 13, 2014 -- JogNog, the leading digital learning app for science education, is launching a free nationwide contest for middle school students to learn science in a challenging and fun way. The contest is designed to motivate students to study science and to help teachers easily reinforce key science concepts.
The JogNog Science Challenge is a program that has been shown to improve science scores on standardized state tests by supporting friendly competition among schools to learn science concepts and correctly answer questions. Questions in the competition support Next Generation Science Standards as well as individual state science requirements for grades 2 through 8.
The contest continues until the middle of May 2015 with a different school winning each week for achieving the most correctly answered questions. Winning schools receive a $25 Amazon gift card, a coveted JogNog Science Challenge poster and are entered into the grand prize of a $100 Amazon gift card and the JogNog Science Challenge trophy. The science questions come from JogNog’s library of 70,000 questions of which 40% are free.
