JogNog Makes it Easier for Students to Sign In
Lynnfield, MA (PRWEB) May 07, 2014 -- The single biggest challenge that teachers face in using educational apps isn’t figuring out how the apps fit with their lesson plans. Rather, it is helping students who forget their user name and password. Forgotten user names and passwords is the unmentioned bane of the new boom in educational technology. One student having difficulty logging into their tablet can hold back the entire class. JogNog is pleased to announce that with its new Android update, teachers and students can now easily sign in with a simple and consistent user name and password using the industry-standard Google Single Sign-On (SSO) that many schools are embracing. This new feature means that teachers and students can utilize the JogNog educational app in their classrooms quickly and easily and fit it into the normal flow of a teacher’s lesson plan.
With JogNog’s latest update, students using Android tablets and phones will have access to JogNog’s library of over 1,500 ready-to-use quizzes and 70,000 teacher-created review questions that are aligned to the Common Core Standards, Next Generation Science Standards, and state curriculum standards.
“JogNog is one of the first educational apps to incorporate the new Android design standards from Google,” noted Stephen Smith, CEO of JogNog. “Students appreciate the new and really simple interface and love using JogNog for learning. Now, with Single Sign-On, teachers can quickly and seamlessly integrate JogNog into their lesson plans.”
With over 540 million people active on Google each month, Google tools and accounts form the foundation of how many schools use apps in the classroom. Schools using Google Apps for Education further benefit from JogNog’s use of Google Single Sign-On. Teachers can now use one Google account for their entire classroom to log in to JogNog for all of their students.
