John Coutts Joins ON Search Partners as Partner; Opens Portland, Oregon Office

Backed with two decades of executive search experience, John’s practice focuses on advanced technologies and industrial organizations. His clients have ranged from emerging companies to Fortune 500 corporations in the technology, industrial, consumer products, healthcare and professional services industries.
John joins ON Search from Korn/Ferry International where he served as Senior Client Partner and Global Sector Leader for the Systems & Electronics Practice. Previous search experience includes six years with a leading West Coast-based executive search firm, and working as a consultant for two firms in Boston where he successfully completed searches in the advanced technology, industrial and biotechnology/ medical products sectors.
Earlier in his career, John was an educator, teaching college-level economics and business studies. He received his bachelor's degree in education from Waikato University, Hamilton in New Zealand.
