John Moore to Present Keynote Address at the Upcoming Tri-State Food Expo
Portland, Maine (PRWEB) September 27, 2013 -- Food industry thought leader, brand innovator and marketing guru John Moore, former long-time Starbucks marketing manager and Whole Foods director of marketing, will speak at the 2013 Tri-State Food Expo on Tuesday, October 1, at 1:00pm. Following his presentation, there will be a book signing. The Tri-State Food Expo, taking place October 1-2 at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, NJ, is a trade-only event for the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut retail and foodservice trade industry.
Moore’s address will focus on the message, “The Bigness of Smallness”. Using examples of established and emerging brands, he will guide Tri-State Food Expo’s foodservice and retail attendees through actionable methods for how small businesses can thrive in a crowded marketplace and how big businesses can continue growing when faced with upstart competition. This paradox of growth serves as the foundation for John Moore’s insight on how businesses can get bigger by acting smaller.
Tri-State Food Expo serves the tri-state foodservice and retail markets, and is open only to qualified buyers and industry professionals. The trade show is produced by Diversified Business Communications, in partnership with the New Jersey Restaurant Association (NJRA), an association representing more than 23,000 eating and drinking establishments in the Garden State of New Jersey. All registrations to the show include full access to John Moore’s keynote address, as well as an exhibit hall featuring hundreds of exhibitors showcasing thousands of products and services, culinary demonstrations by leading regional chefs including Chef David Burke, and education sessions addressing needs of today’s food and retail markets. Exhibitors include food, beverage and equipment manufacturers, manufacturing agents and suppliers, food and beverage and equipment distributors, dealers, brokers and traders.
