John S. Jurasic Appointed As Alternate on NFPA Finishing Processes Technical Committee

Jurasic, Engineering, was recently appointed as an Alternate committee member on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Technical Committee on Finishing Processes (FAA-AAA). The Committee’s Scope includes creating and maintaining documents about safeguarding against the fire and explosion hazards associated with spray application processes, dipping processes, coating processes, and other similar processes, including glass fiber/resin fabrication processes and printing processes, except for certain dipping processes that are within the scope of the Committee on Ovens and Furnaces. Formal Committee Responsibility covers the Standard for Dipping, Coating, and Printing Processes Using Flammable or Combustible Liquids (NFPA 34) and the Standard for Spray Application Using Flammable or Combustible Materials (NFPA 33).
