John’s Refrigeration Acquires Rōm-air, Inc.

John’s has been a family owned business operating in the Phoenix, AZ metro area since 1970.
Rōm-Air, in business since 1983, was also a second generation, family owned business like John’s. After 32 years of servicing his customers’ air conditioning and heating needs, Rōm-air’s owner, Steven Ransom, decided to retire and sell his business. “Before making this difficult decision, I searched for a company with similar values: honesty, integrity, a strong work ethic, and trust,” says Ransom. He found what he was looking for in John’s. “Andrew and I consider this a mutually beneficial union that also allows both Rōm-Air’s and John’s customers to benefit from the long-time expertise and stellar reputation that both our companies have.”
Since both John’s and Rōm-Air are APS and SRP Certified and Qualified Contractors, this merger has many opportunities for all current Rōm-Air customers to continue receiving the best deals on new A/C units and repairs on older units. Name brand heating and cooling units, including American Standard, Carrier, Trane, Lennox, and Amana, are both installed and repaired by John’s, as well as the new John’s brand the company rolled out a few months ago. John’s also offers air purifying services, ductwork inspections, and other various repair and maintenance required on HVAC systems.
