Johnny Morcos, PE, Joins HNTB as New Program Manager
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 09, 2014 -- Johnny Morcos, PE, has joined HNTB Corporation as program manager and associate vice president and will be based in Chicago.
Prior to joining HNTB, Morcos served the Chicago Department of Transportation for more than 10 years, working on a variety of projects including bridges, tunnels and highways. While serving at CDOT, Morcos managed several high-profile projects including Wacker Drive and the Wells Street double-leaf bascule bridge over Main Branch Chicago River. Morcos also served as acting Chief Bridge Engineer for CDOT in 2012 and 2013.

Morcos graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. In 2013, the Illinois section of ASCE named Morcos the Young Government Engineer of the Year.
