Jon Unruh Wins USPSA Area 7 Championship Single Stack Division at 2014 Handgun Championship
Ulster, PA (PRWEB) September 17, 2014 -- Oak Hill Guns recently announced that Jon Unruh won the Single Stack Division Title at the 2014 United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) Area 7 Handgun Championship held at The Rod & Gun Club of New Bedford, MA on September 5-7th. The USPSA was formed in 1976 and today, USPSA matches are conducted every week by the nearly 400 affiliated clubs all over the United States for practical shooting enthusiasts.
The Championship match of the Northeast Area 7 consisted of 9 diverse stages that tested the shooters skill and equipment with a broad range of challenges. Using a STI pistol loaded with polymer coated bullets from The Blue Bullets, Unruh was able to traverse the broad range of stages winning 3 of the large field courses and coming in second in another 2 other stages to win the Single Stack division.
