Jonathan Stone named Chief Operating Officer of Kelser Corporation
East Hartford, CT (PRWEB) March 25, 2015 -- Kelser Corporation is proud to announce that Jonathan Stone is taking on the additional role of Chief Operating Officer.
Effective immediately, Stone will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer in addition to his existing role as Chief Technology Officer. In his new position, he will guide day to day management of the company, building consistency and efficiency in all areas including sales, finance, operations, marketing, logistics and professional services. Stone will continue to work jointly with Kelser’s clients and staff to find technology solutions that allow businesses to move forward with confidence.
Stone joined Kelser in October 2011, as a Technology Solutions Executive. During this period he spent significant time developing Kelser’s solutions capabilities, client base, and internal processes. In 2013, Stone ascended to the position of Chief Technology Officer. In his continuing role as CTO, he will work closely with business, management, and IT leaders within Kelser’s customer base to align business goals, technology strategies, and Kelser solutions. Additionally, he partners with his peers to ensure that Kelser’s internal IT infrastructure is architected and maintained according to world-class standards.

Before joining Kelser, Stone held a variety of positions with The Travelers during his 17 years there, finishing his tenure as the 2nd Vice President of Desktop, Servers and Storage. In that role he was responsible for technical strategy, hardware and software selection, solution engineering and level 3 engineering support in the desktop, enterprise storage, backup, server, and virtualization spaces.
Jonathan graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1994 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. In 2000, he earned an MS in Computer Science from RPI at Hartford and in 2007 he graduated from the SIM Regional Leadership Forum (RLF). He credits RLF with helping him understand the importance of authentic leadership, especially in a close-knit company like Kelser.
Jon lives in Glastonbury with his family and their Greater Swiss Mountain dog, Baruch. He is also a licensed helicopter pilot. When not working, Jonathan enjoys reading, working on home improvement projects, and walking with his dog.
