Joseph Federico, NJ MET VP and Director, Announces 15th Annual Thanksgiving Charity Drive for Eva’s Kitchen
Clifton, NJ (PRWEB) November 23, 2013 -- Joseph Federico VP and Director of NJ MET, located in Clifton, NJ announces that NJ MET’s 15th annual Thanksgiving charity food drive will benefit Eva’s Kitchen of Paterson NJ.
Joseph Federico said, "After 15 years, we are continuing to encourage friends and family to contribute canned goods and other food products to help feed the homeless and hungry of the Passaic County area of New Jersey. We received donations from both our corporate staff here in NJ MET’s NJ headquarters and from our valued customers throughout the metropolitan area." Anyone wishing to contribute to the food drive can drop off canned goods at NJ MET's headquarters at 1240 Main Avenue, Clifton, NJ.
Joseph Federico will personally deliver all of the donated goods to Eva’s Kitchen in Paterson, NJ on Thanksgiving morning.
Located at 393 Main Street in Paterson, Eva’s Kitchen is a large, clean and sunlight-filled space where diners are welcomed 365 days a year - all who come are fed. Started in 1982 by Rev. Msgr. Vincent E. Puma, Eva’s Kitchen is the oldest component of what has grown to become Eva’s Village. Eva’s Kitchen began with a meal of franks and beans to 30 homeless people, and now serves over 1,000 meals every day to the homeless, hungry and working poor who gather at Eva’s Kitchen, and those in residence in various programs at Eva’s Village in New Jersey.
