Judith A. Dempsey Releases New Book ‘Joshua’s Journey’

Joshua Jordan’s sister challenges him to find the Swamp Woman and to get a cure for the girl.
“Joshua's Journey” chronicles Joshua’s struggle to become a doctor in the segregated South. “I want readers to recognize that peace between individuals, races and countries is only possible when people are willing to compromise and support each other,” Dempsey tells.

About the Author
Judith A. Dempsey is a senior citizen, who will soon become 79 years old. She has resided in North Carolina for 30 years and has lived in the states of Ohio, Washington DC, Vermont and Maryland. She has two grown children; her daughter had a Down syndrome who passed away two years ago at age 51. Dempsey’s husband was an author, researcher and graduate school professor. Both Dempsey and her husband were active in the Consumer and Family Advisory Committee for Mental Health. She is an active member of Outer Banks Presbyterian Church and sings in the choir. She also published the book “The Tale of Two Brothers: The Story of the Wright Brothers.”
