Juil Adds Ballet Flats to Their Collection of Earthing-Inspired Footwear
Mequon, WI (PRWEB) November 25, 2013 -- A little more than two years ago, Juil entered the footwear market and introduced it to a new brand based on a contemporary wellness concept known as grounding. By placing copper connectors through the sole of their shoes, Juil quickly gained attention from retailers and customers across the nation. What was previously reserved to the yoga and naturopathic communities is now becoming a mainstream method of finding balance in one’s life.
Earthing, or grounding, is a concept based on nothing more than being barefoot, or touching the earth’s surface with your skin. This connection, studies suggest, allow the wearer to decrease inflammation, gain better sleep, and remain more calm and balanced throughout their day.
Bobby Kanter, Juil’s newest Director of E-Commerce, explained that, “As we like to say, Juils cleanse your body. They cleanse it of toxins and stresses in the form of free radicals. It’s how we keep our customers connected.”
Juil recently released the newest addition to their line – three styles of the classic ballet flat. While based on the concept of earthing, Juil has embarked on a larger mission – to create a lifestyle brand. After spending two years immersing itself in the market and searching for inspiration, Juil seems ready to take the next step. Their newest line of ballet flats and sandals boast a much more apparent fashion sense, something that they plan to continue.
When asked about the direction that Juil is taking, Kanter focused on the consumer.
“At Juil, we’re building a lifestyle. Our new line of ballet flats allow our customers more opportunities to stay connected. Whether it’s day or night, hot or cold, whatever or wherever. Our ultimate goal, as simple as it sounds, is to make our customers feel good, and adding some more closed-toe options to our line is going to help us do just that.”
As people grow to appreciate earthing and attempt to maintain their health and wellness, Juil seems to fit in well to bridge that gap. Juil has engaged a new designer and has begun designing in preparation for Fall of 2014. Their next line is likely to feature some more closed-toe options, copper connectors included, as always.
