Julia M. Carlson of Financial Freedom Wealth Management Group Honored on InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 List
Newport, OR (PRWEB) July 14, 2014 -- Julia M. Carlson, CEO and Founder of Financial Freedom Wealth Management Group, LLC, has been named as one of InvestmentNews’ 40 under 40, recognizing her as one of the top in the financial services field under the age of 40. The recipients are chosen by the editors of Investment News from a pool of nominees based on the criteria of accomplishment, contribution, leadership and promise.
InvestmentNews is a weekly newspaper reporting on the financial services industry. Started in 1998, the newspaper now has a circulation of over 60,000 professionals. 2014 is the inaugural year for the 40 under 40 award, and more than 1,300 people were nominated. InvestmentNews notified the winners in April and they were invited to conduct interviews and participate in a special event in New York. InvestmentNews published the full 40 under 40 list in their June 23rd issue.
In his letter announcing Carlson’s selection as an honoree, Editor Frederick P. Carlson has been practicing financial planning for over 16 years and specializes in helping people who are either retired or close to retirement. She is also recognized for her knowledge of tax strategies for retirement and distribution planning. Julia is an Investment Advisor Representative and Registered Principal with LPL Financial, and has her Series 24, 7, 63, 66 Securities registrations held through LPL Financial. She also holds her Life and Health Insurance license. This year, she was also recognized with the Women’s Choice Award for financial advisors. Her company had previously been named “Best Financial Advisors” in Lincoln County by News-Times readers based by popular vote. Carlson has a financial column in the Newport-News Times. She enjoys participating in her community as a Rotary and Chamber Member. Carlson works from the Newport location of Financial Freedom.
