West Chester, PA (PRWEB) September 18, 2015 -- Julia Malloy-Good was recently endorsed for Chester County Common Pleas Judge by the Chester County Chiefs of Police Association.
“I am grateful and honored to be endorsed by this great law enforcement organization,” Malloy-Good said of the September 9th unanimous decision. “Our local law enforcement is a vital partner to our judicial system and I humbled to have received their support of my candidacy.”
This endorsement follows the July 2015 results of the Judicial Evaluation plebiscite vote by her peers in the Chester County Bar Association, giving Malloy-Good the highest rating of “Qualified” for the second time. She is the only candidate to have received this designation. Malloy-Good was also just named a 2015 Top Lawyer by Main Line Today.
Malloy-Good has more than thirty years of legal experience is all aspects of the law including as an advocate, mediator and arbitrator. She recently spent four years working in Chester County Family Court as a special master for complex support, hearing cases and making evidentiary decisions. Malloy-Good would bring her legal and volunteer experience to the position of judge. She has served as the president of the Chester County Bar Foundation, on the Malvern Borough Planning Commission, and on the boards of the Chester County Bar Association, Maternal and Child Health Consortium and West Chester Area Senior Center.
“My reasons for seeking this job are simple,” Malloy-Good said. “I want to give back to the Chester County community that has given me so much by using the knowledge and skills I have developed over the years. I will continue to serve the citizens of Chester County as a fair and impartial trier of fact, serving with a listening ear, knowledge of the law and an open mind.”
