Julie shares, “Hi, I’m Laban the loveable lamb. I too was present at the Christ child’s birth. In fact, I came about the same time that Jesus was born. You see, my mother was in the field near Bethlehem on that cold winter’s night when the shepherds saw angels in the sky and the glory of the Lord shone around them and they were terrified.
The angel told them not to be afraid, that the Savior was born and they could find Him in a manger. Then a company of angels appeared, saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests.’
The shepherds left to go to Bethlehem to see the Christ child, but they took my mother with them because she was about to give birth. They didn’t want me to be left in the field at night for fear wolves might come and take me. Thus, my mother was put inside the stable, so I was born safe and sound with the wonderful smells and sounds of that miraculous birth.”
