JumpBunch Sponsors the Skechers Friendship Walk
Annapolis, MD (PRWEB) October 20, 2015 -- JumpBunch, Inc. is pleased to announce that JumpBunch will be participating as a Corporate Sponsor in the 2015 SKECHERS Friendship Walk on Sunday, October 25, 2015. This event is California's largest charity event dedicated to children with special needs and education, and raised almost $1.2 million in 2014 alone.
Since its inception, the SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship Walk has raised over $4 million to help save teachers’ jobs, retain vital educational programs, maintain smaller class sizes, improve libraries, upgrade school technology, as well as support The Friendship Circle – an organization that assists children with special needs and their families through one-on-one peer mentoring and social recreational programming.
Last year Brian Hasson, [Owner of JumpBunch in Torrance, CA] and his staff participated in the Walk and thought that it was such a great event, and worthwhile cause that he made certain that JumpBunch became a Corporate Sponsor this year. “All the schools and local people from the South Bay area come together in support of a wonderful day and great community event,” said Brian. Additionally, Brian and his staff have worked with The Friendship Circle throughout the year, supporting various schools and clubs in the South Bay area at program events and end of year parties.
JumpBunch will be hosting a booth located near the Manhattan Beach Pier where the Walk begins. Parents, kids and teachers are all welcome to come by to learn more about JumpBunch and how it introduces young children to more than 70 different sports and activities. We will be playing games like Frisbee toss, rubber chicken fling and there will be raffles for some great prizes.
The seventh annual SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship Walk is taking place on Sunday, October 25 in Manhattan Beach. The opening ceremony begins at 9 AM at the Manhattan Beach pier. SKECHERS is anticipating more than 12,000 participants will walk the 3.4 mile route to the Hermosa Beach pier and back.
