Jupiter Ed Customers in Arizona Now Have Access to Real-Time Reporting
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) August 27, 2015 -- Jupiter Ed announced today that it is certified to provide their Jupiter iO Student Information System solution to Arizona Public Schools, for the purpose of accountability reporting.
Beginning July 1, 2015, all LEAs in Arizona are required to submit data to Arizona Department of Education using the Arizona Education Data Standards (AzEDS). To continue working with Arizona schools after that point, vendors are required to successfully complete AzEDS certification. Currently only thirteen vendors are certified.
AzEDS is a data interface for Student Information Systems to automatically push reporting and accountability data from the school districts to the state education department. Every school in Arizona is required to track and report hundreds of pieces of information every day, requiring countless hours of work and ever-increasing financial burden.
Schools enter their data into Jupiter iO, which sends it directly to the state in the background every day, eliminating the need for redundant manual entries or handling data files. This system produces a simpler process, saving both time and money, with a drastic reduction in multiple student entries. AzEDS allows real-time reporting, structured organizing, daily reports, and prompt school funding.
The new AzEDS system automates the majority of the reporting without compromising privacy or reducing a local education agency’s control over student data. AzEDS runs behind the scene, so most people will never even know they are benefitting from it; however, administrative staff will quickly notice the reduction in hours they spend compiling and submitting data. AzEDS also provides AZDash as a website to monitor near real-time student data.
