The cloud-based service powered by CafeX’s web-based real-time communications (WebRTC) technology eliminates the need for attorneys to travel to detention sites, pass through security screenings, and waste working hours in waiting rooms. According to JurisLink, the service has saved one public defender’s office $12,500 per month, and another firm nearly $250,000 per year.
JurisLink also provides a video arraignment solution that allows judges to initiate a court session with a single click. Commonly used court documents can also be signed by remote parties using JurisLink’s e-signature capability.
