Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- This holiday season, aspiring fashionistas of all ages will have a new option in pierce-free earrings with the launch of EarZings, a Milwaukee-based brand of accessories for girls.

Artfully designed for girls ages five to 13-plus, the new line includes 12 unique pairs of playful, chic earrings each featuring EarZings' revolutionary coil design giving them unparalleled pierce-free functionality and comfort.

Made in the United States from lead-free metals and brilliant crystals, each pair of EarZings captures a little whimsy. From on-trend owls, hearts, stars and flowers, to playful soccer balls, cupcakes, puppies, butterflies and dolphins, with classic stone cluster and solitaire designs in between, there are EarZings for every mood and personality.

In addition to great style, EarZings provide the ultimate in pierce-free wearability. The unique patent-pending spiral design uses gradual tension to affix the earring to the earlobe. The exclusive construction provides incomparable pierce-free comfort and allows EarZings to stay remarkably secure to the ear. EarZings' one-piece construction also means no more hunting for lost earring backs and no more tears because a favorite pair can't be worn.

“Years of research and development have perfected the EarZings design concept to provide a truly market-changing, pierce-free alternative,” says Pfaff. “There is nothing like it in the marketplace today.”

Daughter's frustration becomes mother's inspiration
With a background in document automation sales, Pfaff never imagined her next career path would take her from stay-at-home-mother of two very active young girls to inventor and designer, but the course was, in fact, a natural progression.

Several years ago, Pfaff found herself constantly addressing her daughter's persistent pleading for pierced ears. Pfaff held firm that her then seven-year old daughter was not quite ready for this “rite of passage.” After several failed trials with clip-ons (very painful) and magnet earrings (even more painful) Pfaff was inspired to create her own solution. With a little ingenuity, Pfaff conceptualized and created the first prototype and slipped it on her daughter's ear. Four hours later, that prototype was still securely in place and so comfortable that her daughter had forgotten she was wearing it. From there, EarZings was born.

Pfaff worked with a team of engineers to perfect the coil design and construction. Through her membership with the New York-based Accessories Council, she gained access to the reputable members of the Council's USAMade initiative and selected a jewelry manufacturer in Warwick, Rhode Island to produce EarZings. Working with a U.S. manufacturer was important to Pfaff to help ensure product quality and safety and give her more flexibility to quickly respond to fashion trends. Pfaff's daughters also help provide quality assurance – every pair of EarZings Pfaff designs must be approved by both girls prior to production.

Pfaff launched her first line of EarZings in the United States in 2013 and plans to expand sales into Canada shortly. Pfaff also plans to launch new pierce-free lines annually and add additional lines of accessories to the EarZings brand. “We are currently working on a beach-inspired resort line for Spring, and a line of interchangeable EarZings dangles for a summer 2014 launch,” says Pfaff.
