Just Released, the "Consumer’s Guide to Caring for and Planting a Live, Balled in Burlap Christmas Tree" From MikesBackyardNursery.com
Perry, Ohio (PRWEB) November 26, 2013 -- Nurseryman Mike McGroarty has just released the "Consumer’s Guide to Caring for and Planting a Live Balled in Burlap Christmas tree". "This is a step by step and sequential guild to selecting a good tree, properly digging a hole for the tree, getting the tree into the house, caring for the tree properly while you have it in the house, then getting it back outside and planted safe and sound," says McGroarty.
Making the decision to buy a live tree instead of a cut tree or an artificial tree is a wonderful thing to do, but according to McGroarty things can and do go wrong in the process. "There are a lot of steps in the process," says McGroarty. "Armed with good information you will select a healthy tree and by following the simple steps in the guide you will take good care of your tree and get it planted properly in the yard."
McGroarty says, people unknowingly make mistakes that jeopardize the health and well-being of the tree that they select. What McGroarty is trying to do is to make people understand exactly what is going on with the tree that they purchase. "Like all plants, evergreen trees follow a twelve month cycle that coincides with the outside weather conditions," says McGroarty. "Bringing an evergreen tree inside of a warm house in the middle of December can really be disrupting to the tree. The better you understand what the tree is thinking, the more success you will have with your living Christmas tree project."
McGroarty is willing to admit that trees can’t or don’t have the ability to think but they are living things and considerations have to be shown to the natural process that they go through annually. Since bringing an evergreen tree into a warm house in December is not the best thing you can do for a tree, McGroarty’s guide shows you how to minimize the negative effect that doing so can have on the tree.
McGroarty goes on to say the people make serious mistakes when planting trees of all kinds so he also walks you through the process with photos and information. "Nobody is out to intentionally kill a plant they paid good money for," says McGroarty. "It’s just that there is so much misleading information out there that people get confused and often times over care for the plant that they are trying to install."
Besides being a nurseryman Mike McGroarty is also an online gardening educator. His popular gardening blog; http://Mike'sBacyardNursery.com is packed full of unique and valuable "how to" gardening information as well as photos of he and his wife hanging out with their beloved miniature donkeys which are a big hit with his followers. "People love the donkey photos," says McGroarty.
