Jvion Selected to Present The Potential for Predictive Analytics in Pediatric Settings

The three-day event, which will take place in San Francisco, CA on March 9 - 11, will bring together leaders in pediatric care to discuss ways to improve quality and patient safety in children’s healthcare. The aim of the 2015 Quality and Safety in Children’s Health Conference is to help accelerate transformation in children’s healthcare. This year’s topics include: improving patient and family engagement; creating high reliability organizations; managing medically complex children; and fostering patient safety. Don Berwick, M.D., Former Administrator, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Founding CEO, Institute for Healthcare Improvement and Wendy Sue Swanson, M.D., Pediatrician and Executive Director of Digital Health, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and author of "Mama Doc Medicine: Finding Calm and Confidence in Parenting, Child Health, and Work-Life Balance" are slotted as keynote speakers for the conference.
Jvion’s session will focus on the application of predictive analytics to target hospital-acquired conditions. The presentation will include a use case example from a large academic system that is using advanced predictive analytics to identify and target high-risk patients. Attendees who attend the session will be given the information they need to build a business case for predictive analytic application; understand how predictive analytics can target hospital-acquired conditions, and describe how predictive analytics can improve patient safety.
