The scholarship will be awarded during the school year in an effort to assist one student with some funds while they pursue their education.
In order for a student to be officially entered in the Starving Student Scholarship Contest, they must write a 300 word essay covering one of the following topics:
• Do you think handheld devices should be banned everywhere while driving?
• Creative ways to travel outside of the US with a maximum budget of $1000
• Your GPS: Friend or Foe?
• Your first love (or frien-emy): Your first car
• If money is no object; tell us about your dream car and why it's your dream car.
For college students to finalize their entry, their essay must be received and approved by Kanetix.com no later than March 21, 2014 by 12:34:56 p.m. EST. All entries approved by Kanetix.com will receive a unique link for each entrant to promote their essay among their friends and family for votes.
The winner of the Starving Student Scholarship Contest will be determined not solely by the number of votes received, but also by the quality and clarity of the essay submission.
