Kansas Connections Academy to Host Meet-and-Greet Events for Current and Prospective Students
Elkhart, Kansas (PRWEB) August 07, 2015 -- Kansas Connections Academy, an online public school serving students in grades K-12 across Kansas, will host three events in August to give currently enrolled families and those considering virtual education an opportunity to meet with school administrators and teachers in-person to ask questions prior to or shortly after the start of the 2015-2016 school year on Aug. 12. These events will take place in Overland Park, Liberal and Wichita.
The first event, Kansas Connections Academy’s Back to School Bash, will take place on Friday, Aug. 7 at 10 a.m. in Overland Park at the Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead (13800 Switzer Rd.). Students can meet and socialize with classmates while their parents discuss the upcoming school year with teachers and administrators.
The second event will take place in Liberal on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 9 a.m. at Daylight Donuts (1027 N. Kansas Ave.). At this event, parents and students will have a chance to meet Jerald Rash, principal at Kansas Connections Academy, while enjoying donuts and coffee. Families are encouraged to ask any questions they might have prior to the start of the school year the next day.
The last event will take place on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. at Wichita’s Sedgwick County Park (6501 W. 21st St. North). Enrolled and prospective parents and students will meet with Principal Rash and Kansas Connections Academy teachers to discuss the school year over popsicles.
Prospective families are welcome to attend these events to learn more about the school, even if they have not yet enrolled their children. Those interested in attending can RSVP by visiting http://www.KansasConnectionsAcademy.com/KCAevents.
